Festival of the Valleys is taking place from Friday May 28th 2010 to Sunday May 30th . It will be a weekend of spectacular music , song, dance, culture,culinary and sporting events held in a spectacular location right on the water. It is here on the pier that the tall ship "Bessie Ellen" will arrive on Friday afternoon with the festival wines on board.

W elcome to Burren in Bloom, our village festival celebrating the arrival of Summer in Ballyvaughan, the capital of the Burren.
The 2010 programme is filled with events and activities to get you out and about in this incredible landscape,
enlightened by the series of lectures and talks to deepen your understanding and knowledge of this unique area.
Each weekend has something new to offer, beginning with the Burren Law School .
The hugely popular Burren Marathon invites you to get in shape and join the hundreds of walkers on May 22nd.
With all of this activity, make sure you leave time to visit the Aillwee Cave and new Birds of Prey Centre. Reward
yourself with dining in our range of eateries, finding that something special in our bijoux shops and relaxing in one
of the many friendly pubs and inns at the end of the day.
